GotInfo Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GotInfo. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GotInfo mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, accessing, or using GotInfo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

GotInfo is operated by GotInfo Corporation (“GotInfo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. What GotInfo Is

GotInfo is a hyper-local request and response platform that allows users to:

• Post requests for products or services (“NeedInfo” posts)
• Receive responses from local businesses and community members
• Communicate, receive notifications, and interact within the platform

GotInfo does not sell, ship, or fulfill goods or services. We provide a technology platform that connects people.

2. Who Can Use GotInfo

You may use GotInfo if you are:

• At least 17 years old, and
  
  
• Using the platform in compliance with all applicable laws.

If you are under 18, you may use GotInfo only for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not enter into any binding transactions, contracts, or business relationships through the Platform.

All business accounts, business listings, and any commercial activity on GotInfo must be operated by individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Businesses must be legally registered and authorized to operate in their jurisdiction.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login secure
• All activity under your account
• Providing accurate information

You may not:

• Impersonate others
• Use fake or misleading business listings
• Abuse, harass, or mislead users

4. User Content

Users may post:

• Requests
• Messages
• Images
• Business information
• Reviews and feedback
• GotInfo icons user-generated content

You retain ownership of what you post, but by posting on GotInfo you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and use that content within the Platform to operate the service.

You may not post:

• Illegal content
• Hate speech
• Pornography
• Harassment
• Fraud
• Copyright-infringing material
• Dangerous or misleading information

We may remove content at our discretion.

5. Business Listings and Responses

Businesses:

• Control their own listings
• Are responsible for accuracy
• Are responsible for any transaction, service, or product they offer

GotInfo is not a party to any transaction between users and businesses.

We do not:

• Guarantee fulfillment
• Guarantee accuracy
• Process payments (unless explicitly stated)

6. No Guarantees

GotInfo does not guarantee:

• That a request will be answered
• That a business will respond
• That a product or service is available
• That any transaction will be successful

Use the platform at your own risk.

7. Location & Notifications

GotInfo uses:

• Location data to show nearby requests and businesses
• Push notifications to alert users to activity

By using the app, you consent to:

• Receiving push notifications
• Location-based matching

You may disable these in device settings.

8. Community Conduct

You agree to:

• Act respectfully
• Not manipulate or abuse the system
• Not create false urgency
• Not spam or exploit businesses or users

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the platform
• Create legal or safety risk

You may delete your account at any time.

10. Data & Privacy

Use of GotInfo is governed by our Privacy Policy (linked separately). We do not sell personal data.

11. Intellectual Property

All GotInfo branding, logos, designs, and software belong to GotInfo Corporation. You may not copy or reuse them.

12. Disclaimers

GotInfo is provided “as is.”
We make no warranties about:

• Availability
• Accuracy
• Results
• Fitness for any purpose

13. Limitation of Liability

GotInfo is not liable for:

• User disputes
• Business conduct
• Missed transactions
• Lost profits
• Injuries
• Misrepresentations

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance.
