Questions For You

Have you ever needed that last minute item for a meeting- like the large sticky chart paper or the multi-colored file folders and didn’t have time to go searching all over town?

Or maybe you needed a certain wine for a special occasion, but needed to know the nearest location carrying it before you set off looking?

Then maybe, on Valentine’s Day morning, you remember you signed up to take Valentine’s Day cookies to your son’s class. You drive to the nearest grocery store and they are out. You drive to another store, they are out, too. Now, you’re in a jam.

You take a road-trip and realize, you need an oil change, like NOW. You need a friend in this “other” town to know what the wait times look like, right, so you can get on with life?

And then . . . on vacation, you need a friend in this “other” town to help you find the real, authentic, organic answer to what are the wait times at urgent care facilities because your child has just erupted in 104 degree fever. What do you do?

At moments like this, don’t you wish you had a friend to ask? Someone who was there already? Someone you could ask a quick question? Don’t you wish you had a guiding star who could give you that quick, short answer about products, services or operations?

Well, that is what GotInfo is all about.

Allow us to explain. . .

Our Story

In October 2021, our founder, Magdalena Zepeda-SeLegue, a wife, a mother of two toddler boys, a busy English teacher, a community volunteer, a time-crunched professional, was set to attend a funeral. She was on her way, an hour away from home, when she happened to glance at the invitation card. It said, “strict black dress code is being enforced for the respect of the family.” ‘Oh oh,’ she thought, ‘My boys are wearing superhero t-shirts and camouflage shorts.’ So she drove to the nearest Walmart- the first establishment she thought would have black toddler clothing. It didn’t. She drove to Kohls. Nothing. She drove across town to another Walmart. Nothing. Ross. Nothing. Big Five? Nothing. After seven stores, she was in pain. She had taken the kids in and out of their carseats 7 times, had called stores, got no answer, drove to stores, used up tons of gas and still had NO black toddler clothes.

Being that she is a go-getter, Magdalena, began downloading big box store apps, but the process became too cumbersome. The children were now irritable, hungry, had missed their naps and they were not friendly AND the funeral services began in 30 minutes. She says she remembers thinking “Isn’t there someone I can ask? Isn’t there someone who can help me? Like be my eyes and ears at locations. I mean, there has to be someone nice, who could just give me a quick answer. There has to be a store around here, somewhere, like a mom and pop shop that carries black toddler pants.” That was when GotInfo was born.

That evening, Magdalena mulled over the problem. She wrote it down on a napkin. She began thinking. Over the next few weeks, she began talking to friends, family, strangers about times when they needed something NOW. She discovered she was not the only one needing a friend. There were people looking for hard-to-find ethnic spices. When they could not find them, they would have to forgo precious, traditional family recipes. Individuals had searched for sulfite-free beer in the community to avoid allergic reactions. They struggled to find it. Young women needed flats during a wedding reception because their high heels were killing them and could not go too far because they were part of the wedding party. So they needed to find them nearby and NOW.  Then there was the baby formula shortage. Even the extra spicy Takis chips were needed NOW; and people realized that not EVERY store carries them. They are hard to find items, but finally after 5 stores they found them at the local swap meet.

Well, we all know that as time-crunched individuals, professionals, busy parents, going from store to store, shop to shop, establishment to establishment with or without kids, searching for something IS NOT how we want to spend our life. Magdalena decided to move forward with GotInfo and create a service that would save consumers time, gas, money, effort and eliminate consumer stress.

Our Solution

So what is GotInfo doing now? We are sending GotInfo specialists to various locations during heavy consumer times to serve as the eyes and ears for our registered users. We will check-in at local establishments. We will be there to assist consumers and business owners so informed decisions can be made by the time-crunched individual and by the businesses. For example, if tons of inquiries for Valentine’s Day cookies come in, businesses will know to start baking more. If consumers want to know how long the line is to get a Little Cesar’s pizza on a Friday evening, we will answer them with photos, text, videos and/or emoji’s.

Yes, this is for YOU- once you join! Our Live Reporting locations will be posted on the www.GotInfoApp.com website, giving info, answering questions (to the degree that we are able to). We will post pictures of products, services and operations, answering kindly, etc. to YOU, our registered community members’ inquiries. So become a part of this initiative!

GotInfo is growing, adjusting and developing fast and we want you to be part of this movement. By signing up now, you will be “in the know” of our developments and our Live Reporting locations. You will be in line to be grand-fathered in for future GotInfo developments.

Let’s build this strong base of registered users and businesses! Let’s set the foundation that will help each and every one of us eliminate wasted time, money, gas and effort and add strategy, efficiency, and simplicity to your daily consumer tasks and errands. GotInfo is the future. Become part of the local community of consumers who believe in community, connection and communication.

Our Values

At GotInfo, our values are integrated into every aspect of our company in order to best serve our clients and community.

Communication

Communication, dialogue, semantics, semiotics, body language, you name it, help us build relationships. Without them, we are in silos, separated and stagnant. At GotInfo, communication is at the forefront of our mission because we know in this world, we need each other to reach our goals, develop, and flourish.

Connections

Connection is the next step after we communicate. Connections lower anxiety, help us regulate our emotions, establish trust and build positive energy. GotInfo was built to create connections with each other so we can always have a partner that can help us when we need info regarding products, services, and operations.

Community

A sense of community unites us. It makes the mountain look smaller. It shows us we are not alone. It provides a sense of security during vulnerable times. GotInfo seeks to create a community of businesses and consumers that will be there to help each other during moments of need.
