Love is in the air and as we near the day when we celebrate our love and friendship via the purchase of beautiful red roses, exquisite chocolates, red sprinkles, heart-shaped sugar cookies, special wines and cheeses, every day, we have one less day to plan for the event. And if you are like me, a busy, working mom, and mother of two, no matter how much time in advance I allot for planning Valentine’s Day activities, there is always something I will miss. That morning, I am sure, my husband and I will plan on who will pick up what or arrange reservations for the day.

So this year, I decided to begin planning early. I began my research on what cool Valentine’s Day gifts are available for my husband. I found out that there will be Nike Air Jordans being released on Valentine’s Day. The palette consists of browns, pinks, whites, and burgundy so I was not sure if they were sneakers for men or women, but I guess it doesn’t matter, since sneakers are usually unisex, now.

Yet, the real issue for me is where do I find these snazzy sneakers. Are the shoes available on the rack somewhere in stores now? If not, will they be at Footlocker? Macy’s? DSW? WSS? Shiekh? I ask because I would like to see them up close, hold them in my hand, and feel them in order to know if these shoes are something my husband would wear. I must admit the shoes look great online. Actually, I can picture myself wearing the pink ones precisely on Valentine’s Day- but not any other day. What I see happening here is that I may be more willing to wear these sneakers rather than my husband.

So how will we know about the location of these suave shoes? Will the local mom-and-pop shoe stores or the zapaterias be carrying them? I really do not want to download every single store’s app to check, nor call stores or visit five stores before finding them. I just want to ask someone at the shoe store and have them answer me. (GotInfo Specialists where are you?) So in order to save YOU time, money, and gas, GotInfo Specialists are going to be peeking around town (Moreno Valley, CA or Riverside, CA) where shoes are sold and see if the  Nike Air More Uptempo, the Nike Dunk Low, the Nike Air Trainer 1, and the Nike Air Force 1 Low — are sitting proudly on shelves. If they are, we will update you on our social media platforms or maybe even do a Live Reporting session at the store.

This way, we are all in the loop on what our local community businesses are carrying for this holiday. If shoes are not the thing for your relationship, send in some ideas. We can help each other find our significant other’s Valentine’s Day gift so we can cross that item off our to-do list. Because remember, we still have to shop for the kids’ Valentine’s Day cards, and treats, put those together, purchase the items for their classroom parties, and make dinner reservations. Olive Garden, anyone?

As you can see here, we hard-working moms and dads are all busy, which is why we need each other’s info. As GotInfo states, “You got info. I got info.” So share that info with us via the comments or on our social media platforms when you see hard-to-find items. And of course, if you see these sneaks, let us all know. Also, share your ideas and info on any strategic, efficient way to put the kids’ Valentine’s Day cards together. I have the cards and candy (I bought the items back in early January at the Dollar Tree), but I am feeling a little overwhelmed with the thought of having to sit and stuff 70 little cards into tiny little envelopes and writing “From: Your Friend” on each one.

Let’s connect. Join the GotInfo Community and let us know what you think of the shoes, what you know about the shoes, kids’ Valentine’s Day card preparation ideas, and any other ideas you are marinating in your mind for Valentine’s Day gifts. Let’s help each other so the moms and dads can have a chance to connect, communicate and be “in the community” celebrating their love on Valentine’s Day.
